Boom Chickens are seasonal birds! We take an annual hiatus from December - April to write and arrange new music, intentionally plan our next season of projects, and accommodate Mandolin Chicken’s day job as a CPA. We are currently actively booking for a 2024 season where we hope to fly a little farther from the coop, so this is the perfect time to reach out— especially if you want to host some Boom Chickens for any of the below:
Listening Rooms
A Boom Chickens listening room concert features original songs full of tight harmonies, relatable lytics, and a lot of heart. They’re goofy, they’re sincere, and they’re good friends whose love of playing together creates an infectiously feel-good show.
Tasting Rooms
The Boom Chickens’ three-part harmonies and creative string arrangements are an original acoustic sound that’s popular at brewery, winery, and tasting room gigs. Live music fans love the intimate feel of these shows. (And the patrons who just came to chat love that they don’t have electric guitars or a drum kit.)
Festivals
The Boom Chickens are outdoorsy birds, and love the fresh air and great camaraderie of a festival gig. Their annual winter hiatus means that by the time festival season rolls around, they’re hatched some new songs to keep the set lists fresh!
House Concerts
Have you ever wanted chickens in your backyard? While The Boom Chickens love playing festivals and concert venues, some of their favorite memories are from evenings spent playing in cozy living rooms and around backyard campfires. They’re always open to house concert inquiries and to tour requests from places far from the coop.
